PROJECT 66 - collage

Compilation of all the pictures taken throughout the project...

This is a project carried out for 66 hours whereby 1 photograph is taken each hour. The snaps are taken in various location along the journey of 1010 km from Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia) to Cherating(Pahang, Malaysia) and back to Kuala Lumpur.

This excursion commenced at 5am on 15/09/2009 and came to an end at 11pm on 17/09/2009.

PROJECT 66

5 am Day 1: Firing up before the crack of dawn
this is where we started...the zero hour of the Project 66

6 am Day 1 : Light n shadow in absence of sun
the beauty of the the flora can still be appreciated in absence of the light source...6am Broga Hills

7am Day 1 : Imperfect steps

8am Day 1 : First light at Prairie
A sight at Broga Hill during sunrise

9am Day 1 : Unfussy breakfast
A simple breakfast after a hike in an aged coffee shop

10 am Day 1: Ponderosa in Barbara Forest Park
Along one side of the park there was a stand of these tall pine trees and as the day was clear and sunny it was a great opportunity to get a good picture of this. This was taken along the way from Broga to Seremban

11 am Day 1: Key smith at work

12 pm Day 1: The elephants and the lotus
A simple yet handsome table ornament.

Seeps slowly answering the worker's cry for a living

Flashing light since the age of black and white.

10 pm Day 1: Checkmate
Puzzled mind moving towards one goal.

11 pm Day 1 till 6 am Day 2: Plummeting diamonds
Its the side which faces up that makes the difference


7 am Day 2: Sweaty smiley

Even the mist never being omitted from the touch of art.

8 am Day 2: The rise of the fallen?
The day when the last descendant of the Bumble Bee was found near Segamat quarry.

9 am Day 2: The spirit spelled by the Lotus swoons
When the lotus gets the opportunity to swing during the pit stop along the route to Muadzam Shah.

10 am Day 2: Watch your back
Face to face along the tract towards Kuantan.

11 am Day 2: Dusky tranquility
The jetty that connects us to the panorama of Tasik Chini.

12 pm Day 2: Uniting tribes
Under the bridge where the Orang Asli "parks" their 'sampan' which connects them to the outer world. Taken during visit to Perkampungan Orang Asli in Tasik Chini

1 pm Day 2: Escalating mid day temperature
As the heat was rising in the noon, we continued driving and stopped for a short while to have some nasi lemak after the boat ride in Tasik Chini.

2 pm Day 2: Quondam two-wheeler
Well kept property in the middle of Kuantan city.

3 pm Day 2 : Propelling
Remnants of bricks near Kuantan river bank, housing the crab traps which promises a day ahead for this fisherman.

4 pm Day 2 : Quenching the dryness
A cooling down our gullet along the journey towards Cherating.

5 pm Day 2: The sight of composure
An outlook of the bay from the Legend Resort, Cherating.

6 pm Day 2 : The colour, the sound, the wind, the serenity
6 flags of 6 different colours taken at 6pm along the beach behind Legend Resort, Cherating

7 pm Day 2: Sand sports
This shot was taken at the seaside, Legend Cherating Resort. A goal post, beach coconut and a can.

8 pm Day 2: Greeny
Huge tree lighten by a green spot light....8pm before a good dinner...


9 pm Day 2 : Cha dao de' Chukai

Nothing beats, when seafood combines with chinese tea. Ah Seong seafood, Kemaman.


10 pm Day 2 : Verdant

Down to earth...taken this picture jus after back from dinner at Kemaman town...

11 pm Day 2 till 7 am Day 3: Calling it a day
After wearing off all the energy, its time to call it a day

8 am Day 3: Through the balcony in the morning
Starting the day with the sound and sight of the ocean

9 am Day 3: Breakfast on sand
A perfect breakfast by the seaside made a good shot...

10 am Day 3 : Back on the road
A stop by the roadside...when a milestone captured our attention..

11 am Day 3 : Imagine and spot
A stop at Kuanti Buddhist Temple which is located at the top of a hill with wonderful view and its own great history. Try looking harder and you will see the figure of Quan Yin.

12 pm Day 3: Curve
A sharp corner...this picture was taken at 12pm on the way to Marang temple.

1 pm Day 3: Forgotten
Just a shot of a abandoned building in Marang temple compound...it used to be a place for selling sacred things for prayers

2 pm Day 3: Speedy
Speeding viva...

3 pm Day 3: Perfect treat
A lemang treat...this pic was taken on the way to Kuala Gandah when we stop by the road and enjoyed the lemang and the rendang...YUMMY!!

4 pm Day 3: Simple imperfection
Yellow flowers....outside of Elephant Sanctuary, Kuala Gandah

5 pm Day 3: On the roll
Moving along the road, the white warrior....On the way back from Kuala Gandah to Kuala Lumpur.
